Young Welsh forward / winger who seemed to specialise in tormenting Forest when playing against them; he scored an excellent goal in the horrendous 3-0 Megson drubbing in 2005 - 2006 and then ran us ragged in the play-off semi-finals a year later, scoring twice.

Signed as part of a double deal with Chris Cohen, the theory was that he would add much-needed pace & attacking intent to the right hand side of midfield, as well as goals. In the event, after a storming pre-season, Davies suffered a serious ankle injury on Forest's Socttish tour in August 2007, so his first season proved frustrating for player and fans alike; he seldom got a run in the side before some other niggly injury surfaced.

Though not without talent, Davies looks as though he isn't really to impress in Forest's first team; he was sent out on loan to Brighton on transfer deadline day in Summer 2009, but even with Albion in the relegation zone in League One, he failed to impress, so when Gus Poyet took over as manager Davies was returned to Forest without ceremony or regret.

Forest took the opportunity to remove him from the wage bill a few weeks later.
