Ghana international centre forward signed early in Colin Calderwood's reign; Nathan Tyson had suffered a serious knee injury after only 3 minutes of the opening game of the season, and without him Forest completely lacked pace. His signing came somewhat out of the blue and many fans were underwhelmed, but as Agogo settled, gradually Calderwood's judgement was vindicated.

His searing pace is his most obvious asset, but there is more to him than that; in particular, he has the Peter Withe / Lee Chapman ability to act as target man, both holding it up and deflecting the ball with almost any part of his body - and his finishing ain't bad. Injuries to both men at critical points in the run-in deprived us of the sight of Tyson & Agogo in harness during 2006-2007, but with the right service they ought to be a real handful in harness.
